Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of 100% natural soybeans. Soy wax is relatively new having been invented in 1992 in response to demands for an all-natural wax made from renewable resources - a viable alternative to paraffin wax.

Soy wax is 100% natural - a favourite for people who care about the environment. Burning soy candles does not increase the level of CO² in the atmosphere.

Soy wax candles last longer than paraffin wax candles - soy wax burns cleanly at a cool temperature and can last up to 50% longer than paraffin wax.

Soy wax candles produce less soot - on average, soy wax produces around 90% less soot than paraffin wax.

Scented soy wax candles have a great scent throw - soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle which means cooler burning and faster scent dispersion. The lower melting point of soy wax results in a larger size of the liquid wax pool around the candle wick. It is from this liquid wax pool that the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere.

Soy wax spills are easy to clean - soy wax can be easily cleaned using hot soapy water.
